Introduction
The i7-2600K is amazing. We are all well aware of the Intel's super expensive high end processor, the i7-980X six-core that people never stop bragging about if they have one inside their system. Well this processor gives it a real run, literally for its money. The 980X is worth close to the £800 pound mark and the i7-2600K which is very near to the same performance as it, only costs £225, I know, UNREAL! The performance increase has to mostly come from higher clock speeds, which makes this CPU great for gaming.
The i7-2600K has four cores with eight threads, so effectively, 8 cores really. This CPU has 8MB cache with a nice stock frequency of 3.4GHz. The i7-2600K's price is £225. There is a slightly cheaper model you can buy which is the i7-2600, NO K! The only difference between these both is that the multiplier on the i7-2600 doesn't have isn't fully unlocked. so you can squeeze that extra bit of power out if you want to, compared to its superior, the i7-2600K.
