Introduction & Packaging
Today we have another graphics card from the 7000 and from HIS, the HIS HD7770 1GB GHz Edition. The HD7770 is within the mid-range spectrum of 2012’s graphics cards, and is a good performer, pushing out respectable game frame rates. The Radeon HD7770 is aimed towards those consumers who are a little more budget conscious, as the price tag on this unit is also very respectable.
We are interested in seeing what kind of results in cooling and overclocking ability the HD7770 has, as we know that even though it’s the new 7000 series, it may still not live us to perhaps older series cards such as Nvidia’s GTX 500 series and AMD’s previous 6000 series. Also, the 7770 is not too far away from the HD7870 2GB which we just reviewed, so it will be interesting to see the comparison between that and this card.
Lets’s move on and see what bundle comes in box...

Packaging
As you can see on the box, this is the GHz Edition, which means that the card reaches 1GHz in Core Clock speed, which is very impressive for a lower mid-range graphics cards. It wasn’t too long ago that bragging about a 950GHz Core Clock speed was to be considered that you had a super expensive high-end card. This card is a perfect example of the industries progression and quick advancement, especially as hitting 1GHz in a card that doesn’t go over the cost of £200 is becoming more customary.

As this isn’t a super expensive card, we didn’t expect much more than this standard a low-end contents. All the items you need however do seen to be there.
