This is the HIS 7970 IceQ X2 3GB review. The HIS 7970 IceQ X2 3GB GHz Edition is one of the latest super high end graphics cards to recently hit the market, and we have one right here to review for you. HIS have had the IceQ product range out for a long while now, with almost every card showing a clear improvement in GPU cooling over other brands, and the HIS 7970 IceQ X2 is no different, as it shows a very strong temperature stability, and we all know what low temperatures mean... increased overclocking potential. HIS say that the GPU is 17 degrees cooler than the reference cooler. Let’s just mention the overclocking ability this card achieved, its overclock was incredibly high and even though original hopes for the overclocking were high, we never expected the results it reached at a stable level, and the incredible raise in frame rates made the HIS 7970 IceQ X2 scream... “worth the money”.
