Conclusion

As you have seen from the results, the Gigabyte Z77X-UD5H posted results very similar to the Gigabyte Sniper M3 mATX motherboard, although you can see it give just slightly better results overall. So, as we have said previously in the review, the Gigabyte Z77X-UD5H is a enthusiast board, and even though the Sniper M3 is slightly cheaper board and is very high quality, you would expect because of the price different of around £50/$80 that the Gigabyte Z77X-UD5H would have a better performance mark. However the price difference between them is more due to the fact that the Sniper M3 is a mATX, and more importantly the Z77X-UD5H WiFi has a massive amount of features and loads in the included bundle, such as the WiFi and Bluetooth card, which is what puts up the price by about £30/$50. The normal version of this board, which doesn’t include WiFi, costs £150, this is £20/$31 more than the Sniper M3. The WiFi card had a much higher and improved signal then my twin aerial WiFi Tenda card. Due to the board extra pricing on the WiFi version, this card must cost £30/$47.

The Gigabyte Z77X-UD5H comes with Gigabytes easy overclocking tool, and @BIOS software to upgrade your BIOS in seconds, this is something the Sniper M3 didn’t have. They also both have Gigabyte’s 3D BIOS. So you could say performance wise there’s not that much in them, but I still would employ you to purchase this Gigabyte Z77X-UD5H WiFi as its a enthusiast motherboard due to its amount of expansion capabilities. The board is layered in USB 3.0 ports, internal and external, and comes with every single port you will need in the near future.

The board looks visually good, its neat and tidy, making it very manageable with components.

As purchasing users we are often trying to figure out which board to buy based on which ones are future proof. This is normally based on price a lot of the time, because generally speaking the new expensive board has the new tech. However the Gigabyte Z77X-UD5H is not priced anywhere near the likes of £300-360/$470-565, but instead only costs £150/$235, and £180/$280 for the WiFi version like we have here.

“The Gigabyte Z77X-UD5H is the ideal choice for Z77 admirers.”
