Apple Employees Are Egged At Flagship Store In Beijing!

Apple store employees recently got eggs thrown at them at Apple’s flagship store in Beijing's Sanlitun district. A rioting crowd in Beijing through eggs at the flagship store, after it being announce that they will not be getting their hands on the new Apple iPhone 4S after waiting all night in the freezing cold temperatures until early hour in the morning.

Apple employees were safe inside away from the extremely angry iPhone 4S-less crowd. However store management told the staff that when it came to opening the doors for them to leave they could not ensure their safety. The store then announced via a bullhorn that the phone would not be sold after all. Apple have recently stated that the iPhone 4S will not be available in five retail stores in Beijing and Shanghai.

The crowd reportedly did not take it too well, and demanded the doors to open, yelling Apple, which has mastered the art of hyping its product, was chastised by Chinese market researchers.

The angry crowd were not too happy about this and started chanting "liars!”. Police support was then requested to restore order when eggs hit the windows of the store. Apple has built up the iPhone 4S so much and has now been publically punished by the fans.

"Everybody knows there will be massive numbers of people when Apple has this kind of a launch," said Shaun Rein, from China Market Research Group, in a conversation with Bloomberg. "This shows very poor retail management ability."

Apparently the sale of the iconic smartphone has gone on sale in other locations and all in well. Customers are able to order the phone via Apple's online store as well as through the carrier China Unicom.

I’m not sure it’s to healthy to get this attached to a phone. After all, it was their choice to stand in the cold all night. What do you think?
